FRAGICAP
Research Group for the prevention, diagnosis and management of fragility and functional decline, both physical and cognitive in the elderly
The FRAGICAP group, fragility in Primary Care, is made up of primary care physicians and nurses, clinical psychologist and epidemiologist. The research lines are: Detection of fragility: prognostic factors and screening tools; Multifactor interventions for the prevention of fragilty and disability; Home care, caregivers and mistreatment in the elderly; Cognitive impairment The group collaborates with geriatricians from the University College of Cork. The members of the group have 14 publications in the last three years.
