ARTPER
Research Group (peripheral arteriopathy)
The objective of the ARTPER group is to deep in the knowledge of peripheral arterial disease: epidemiology (prevalence, incidence), diagnostic and prognostic risk factors and its relationship with the appearance of vascular events (morbidity and mortality). In 2006 a multicentre cohort was recruited (3786 people> 49 years) with the objective of knowing the prevalence of Peripheral Arteriopathy. In 2011 the cohort was cited in person to determine the incidence of peripheral arterial disease.
