Research Group in Interventions and Determinants Associates to Healthy Ageing
Group formed by Family Physicians and Primary Care Nurses interested in aging, new technologies and the prevention of falls, with collaborations with the Geriatrics and Rehabilitation services of the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital and the Rehabilitation Service of the Hospital of Calella. There is also collaboration with the Institute of Clinical Biomechanics of Dr. José Luis Parreño Catalán. The group is also associated with the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) with ISCiii excellence accreditation, and with the Karolinka Institute's Aging Research Center. The objective of the group's research is to deepen the knowledge of the determinants associated with healthy aging, especially in everything related to changes in postural balance and falls.
