GAVINA
Group of evaluation of interventions in primary attention
The aim of the GAVINA group is to carry out excellent research on the evaluation of health interventions in primary health care (PHC), provide useful evidence for decision-making, and help improve the development of care through dissemination and application of the results in daily practice. The evaluation of the different interventions, before putting them into operation in the health system, is an essential objective to guarantee the quality of care, improve the efficiency of health care, reduce clinical variability and improve decision making in the PHC consultation. The GAVINA group develops the following lines: assessment of health interventions in the PHC, implementation and evaluation of computer tools to help decision-making, studies that generate hypotheses to develop health interventions and evaluation of training models for professionals who improve care.
