Promotion of health in rural scope
The aim of the PROSAARU group is to study the characteristics and singularities that rural environments can have when it comes to promoting health and providing healthcare. The group has defined 4 main lines of work: Design and evaluation of programs of physical activity as tools to improve the physical, psychological and social status of patients. Improvement of access to health care in areas with geographical dispersion using new technologies as tools to support the health care professional tasks. Planning community-based and social prescription interventions. Promoting vaccination and preventing overdiagnosis and overtreatment in several pathologies.
