MACAP
Group for the study of Cardiovascular and Kidney Diseases in Primary Care
The study group developed from a group of professionals (family doctors, nurses, epidemiologists and cardiologists) from different primary health care centres in the south metropolitan (Barcelona) area, the Hospitals of Sant Boi and Bellvitge and researchers from the Metropolitan South Research Support Unit. Their main objective is scientific research in the area of cardiac insufficiency, and in particular the study of diastolic dysfunction in patients with hypertension.
