Diabetis-Reus-Tarragona-GDRT
Diabetis-Reus-Tarragona-GDRT (Reus-Tarragona Diabetes Research Group)
The axial objective of the group is to consolidate and expand a multidisciplinary research group in Primary Care to generate quality scientific knowledge in the area of diabetes, its prevention, diagnosis, management, identification, therapeutic intervention and prognosis, as well as its late manifestations. The scientific knowledge generated should respond to the purpose of increasing and improving the capacity of primary care to identify prediabetes as a health problem; and should be useful to improve its screening and early detection of its complications, adopting health plans and policies aimed at its prevention and treatment in a coordinated manner among the different health professionals. The group is made up of professionals and researchers dedicated to the study of topics related to diabetes. The Reus-Tarragona diabetes research line was initially promoted by the SAP Reus-Altebrat more than 23 years ago.
