GAVINA

Group for the Evaluation of Interventions in Primary Care

The GAVINA research group develops scientifically rigorous studies on the evaluation of health interventions and their implementation in the clinical practice of Primary Care, providing evidence for decision making in health care and helping to improve the development of the daily work of health professionals. The group is multidisciplinary and is organized into 7 full-time PhD researchers, 2 PhD researchers and 2 predoctoral researchers. The new scientific challenges for the coming years are: A/ Maintain public and private funding of the research group. B/ To increase the transfer and innovation products of the group. D/Increase the bibliometric impact of the group C/Increase the internationalization of the group. E/Increase collaborations in other institutions. The goals achieved since 2017 have been 87 publications in indexed journals. Also 11 funded projects and 3 agreements, achieving a total of 1,346,384.60 Eur.
