CA-PRI
Cancer Research Group in Primary Health Care
Ca-PRI is made up of Primary Care (PC) researchers with experience in research, teaching and clinical care practice and has external collaborators (Oncology Master Plan, reference professionals).
CA-PRI members have collaborated in national and European competitive calls, clinical practice guides, authorship of articles and books and other activities, around the early detection of cancer.
The highlighted projects are:
1) Effectiveness of an electronic alert in the eCAP to increase participation from PC in a Colorectal Cancer Screening (CRC) Program;
2) Ovarian cancer care process in the PC of Catalonia;
3) Identification, from PC, of the high-risk population candidate for lung cancer screening;
4) Acceptance of the self-test for the detection of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) to prevent cervical cancer in women with inadequate screening and
5) Prevention and personalized early detection of cancer in PC. CA-PRI aims to develop projects at local, national and European level, and to collaborate with those entities, researchers and people interested in cancer control and research in the field of PC.
The group is the sum of interests to promote cancer research in the field of PC. The main objective is to improve cancer control in PC with direct impact and benefit for the patient.
