EBRICTUS

Epidemiological Research Group in Stroke from Primary Care

The Ebrictus group is accredited by AGAUR as a consolidated group. Among the activities it carries out to achieve its objectives are: 1/ To increase knowledge of the state of population health in the Terres de l'Ebre. 2/ To increase knowledge of cerebrovascular disease, its epidemiology and prevention: the increase in the incidence of stroke due to the aging of the population (epidemiological and demographic context; new endovascular technology in its treatment (care context); its consequences in the form of residual disability, dependence on BADL and the need for care (socio-health context; and by the direct and indirect associated costs (cost-effectiveness context).
