Research Group in Nursing Care

Health care has a transversal aspect within health care, since it occurs in different areas of care and can be offered by different professional profiles, although it is the central axis of the nursing discipline.

The group was created by the initiative of PA nurses in Barcelona who want to value the work of health care.

It is made up mostly of nurses, both from primary care and from the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau and the Department of Nursing of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

In addition, it has the participation of two family doctors and a health technician to ensure a comprehensive view and the methodological quality of the group's projects.

The lines of work aim to deepen the results of health care, both at the group level and individually, as well as to identify strategies that facilitate the transfer of results to clinical practice.

Currently, the active lines are the promotion of health and the management of patients with chronic pathologies.

The group is interested in aspects related to the development of the nursing discipline and in collaborating with other research groups providing the specificity of health care.
