QiSP-Tar

Tarragona Quality and Patient Safety research group

The QiSP-Tar group is a multidisciplinary group that brings together members who work together in the field of quality and patient safety in primary care and with a great impact on the entire community.

The research team is made up of professionals from the Quality Unit of the Camp de Tarragona Territorial Management of the Catalan Institute of Health, the USR of Tarragona, the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine (SemFYC).

The team as a whole has sufficient solidity in the quality and safety of patients and previous experience in research. In addition, different members of the team present a strong collaboration with experts in this sector at national and international level.

The group has funding from both internal calls from IDIAP Jordi Gol and external competitive calls (Instituto de Salud Carlos III, Academy of Medical Sciences) and an active agreement with the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The main objective of the group is to promote research into quality and patient safety with the aim of providing safe and quality care to citizens.
