TICS-AP

Research Group Information and Communication Technologies in Primary Care

The TICS-AP group is a multidisciplinary group in which professionals from nursing, medicine, engineering and other related disciplines participate. The members of TICS-AP belong to different areas of Primary Care, which include management, research, teaching and care.

The group is integrated into the USR-Camp de Tarragona.

Among the members of the team is an IDIAP research technician Jordi Gol. In addition, they have a close collaboration with the Catalan Health Agency and the Rovira i Virgili University.

The general objective of the group is to design and develop various interventions that integrate 2.0 tools and ICTs, and to evaluate the effectiveness of these interventions to improve the health of the population attended to in primary and community care.
