CA-PRI

Cancer Research Group in Primary Health Care

Ca-PRI is formed by Primary Care (PC) researchers with experience in research, teaching and clinical practice and has external collaborators (Oncology Master Plan, reference professionals). CA-PRI members have collaborated in national and European competitive calls, clinical practice guidelines, authorship of articles and books and other activities, around early detection of cancer.

The highlighted projects are: 1) Effectiveness of an electronic alert in eCAP to increase participation from PC in a Colorectal Cancer Screening Program (CRC); 2) Ovarian cancer care process in PC in Catalonia; 3) Identification, from PC of the high-risk population that is a candidate for lung cancer screening; 4) Acceptance of the self-test for the detection of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) to prevent cervical cancer in women with inadequate screening; and 5) Prevention and personalized early detection of cancer in PC. CA-PRI is willing to develop projects at local, state and European level, and to collaborate with those entities, researchers and people interested in cancer control and research in the field of PA.

The group is the sum of interests to promote cancer research in the field of PA. The main objective is to improve cancer control in PC with direct impact and benefit for the patient.
