EBRICTUS

EBRICTUS: Epidemiological Research Group in Stroke from Primary Care

The Ebrictus group is accredited by AGAUR as a consolidated group. Among the activities carried out to achieve its objectives are: 1) To increase knowledge of the state of population health in the Terres de l'Ebre. 2) To increase knowledge of cerebrovascular disease, its epidemiology and prevention: the increase in the incidence of stroke due to the ageing of the population (epidemiological and demographic context; new ndovascular technology in its treatment (healthcare context) its consequences in the form of residual disability, dependence on the ABVD and the need for care (social and health context; and by the direct and indirect associated costs (cost-effectiveness context).
